This short animated film playfully upends the history of avant garde choreography films by focusing its attention on the spectator of a dance (Lucy) instead of the dancer herself (the filmmaker, Kelly). In some ways it's about watching others watching and what it means to become conscious of our own role as spectators. In other ways it's just a colorful film about a very happy baby watching with delight as her mother dances.
